Punch needling is a form of embroidery that’s also related to rug hooking, but instead of stitching, the punch needle pushes thread or yarn into the fabric, while keeping the needle on the surface. The result is a highly textured design made of loops!
Punch needle rug hooking is easy to learn, allows limitless creativity, and works up so quickly that it’s been described as “Instant gratification with wool!”
