Dear Knotty Friends
Red is not just a colour. It is a mood, emotions and a feeling!
Here in February RED is the colour of Love and it is on display everywhere for Valentine’s day.
At Knotty Habit, red is also a colour that comes up in a lot of conversations. There is truly a red for every woman and they each gravitate towards their own “red”. People are always interested to hear that red is a very difficult colour to dye. It depends on the water temperature, the acids used and the colour saturation. I love to colour red yarn and it is always so interesting to see women’s reaction when they find their perfect red.
We will also be at the Yarn Tree on 17 February for our first Knotty Habit pop-up of 2024.
Due to some family responsibilities I decided to move the Knotty monthly Zoom-Zoem one week earlier to the 22 February

Stoepmark will be on the last Saturday of the month, 24 February and we look forward to see you all

Preparations for Cape Town Yarn Festival 2024 is in full swing and we are anxiously excited to bring a Jeep full and more of Knotty Yarn and goodies to Cape Town
