Do you ship outside of South Africa?

We are happy to answer yes to this question! We make use of DHL to provide fully trackable and reliable courier services to any and all locations right around the globe.

What is the cost of international shipping?

This cost is calculated at checkout depending on your location. Luckily, we can offer a low flat rate for parcels including up to 13 skeins of yarn.

Can I pay in my local currency?

Currently we only cater for our local currency the South African Rand, and the United States Dollar through the website itself. If you would prefer to pay in a currency that is not listed, please contact us so we can arrange for payment through a PayPal payment request in the currency of your choice. As our audience grows in time, we can consider adding further currencies to the website and we will be in communication when that happens.

Can I come pick up my parcel rather than paying shipping?

For customers in Gauteng the option to pick up at our premises is available via a radio button option. Please reach out to us to confirm a timeslot during these unprecedented times.

Do you have alternative payment gateways available than what I see at checkout?

We do have a PayPal account option available. Feel free to pop us an email after placing an order so we can forward you the payment request.

Can I come visit the studio?

You are welcome to come visit us in the studio, but please only do so by appointment. We have card facilities on hand should the yarn convince you to take them home. Unfortunately, we only allow visits strictly by appointment. This allows us to limit the amount of people in the studio, sanitize between visits and also limit the impact on Mrs. Knotty’s schedule. Thank you for understanding!

Do you offer custom dye options?

Yes! Feel free to reach out to us with your inspiration images or current project where you are running out of yarn, and we can assist you as best we can!
